Just caught a second of the Michigan game, and they were talking about UK potentially going undefeated. Seth Davis said he would never predict a team to go undefeated, but if UK got to January undefeated then "lookout".

That says more about how bad the SEC is then it does how good UK might be.

A lot of parity in college basketball these days---the Big Ten is going to be bloody---glad we have 3 point shooters---we are going to need them!

Early scouting report on SMU...

They rebound about as well as we have. Just atrocious so far.

No real big man. A lot like us in that aspect.

Other than Moore, most guys are built like Troy. Long and lean.

Moore is also their only PG. No back up.

Get them out and running to wear down Moore. Also sic Yogi on him and Stan or Rob when it isn't Yogi. I think this will be a great game. Absolutely can not wait for Thursday.

Edit: Oh and Gonzaga doesn't suck.

Zags pouring it on SMU right now by 20 in second half....impressed by Gonzaga.

 

We can play with SMU---they are better than what we've been playing---longer and more athletic----but don't have the shooters we do and SMU is not defending the 3's very well tonight.  Hope they play that way against us.

There's no way there's 12 better teams in the country than Gonzaga.  SMU looks pretty bad but I'm chalking this up to the Zags being a legit Final Four contender more than SMU being mediocre.  Should still be a great test on Thursday.  Really need this one with Pitt looking like a bottom tier ACC team this year.  Can't wait!
