Has his dad seen him play a game yet? I have no idea, but from time to time we've seen his mom and sisters in the stands, usually around holidays. Last year we got to sit a few rows from them after the game, we stopped his Mom and told her how much we loved watching Victor play. She probably thought I was nuts when I hugged her. LOL! He may have seen him when they play in Washington. Naturalhoosier, Class of '66 Old Fart, Defenserocks28 and 1 other 4 Quote
FloridaHoosierGirl Posted May 12, 2016 Posted May 12, 2016 Well, this happened today! Scott Skiles resigned. “After much thought and careful consideration, I and I alone, have come to the conclusion that I am not the right head coach for this team,” said Skiles. “Therefore, effective immediately, I resign my position as head coach of the Orlando Magic. I realize this type of decision can cause much speculation. The reality though is in the first sentence. It is simple and true. Any other rumors are pure conjecture.” “I sincerely apologize for any unintended consequences that may adversely affect anyone associated with this decision,” Skiles continued. “The Magic are a world-class organization that employs world-class people. I wish them nothing but great success. I will always be thankful, especially to the DeVos family, for the opportunity.” Defenserocks28, Class of '66 Old Fart and WayneFleekHoosier 3 Quote

I think they need to decide between VO and Elfrid Payton. It's difficult enough to have one poor-shooting guard in today's NBA, but you can't have two. Vic isn't exactly a starter in the NBA unless the correct pieces are around him. If you're going to use him as a defender and the 4th or 5th option on offense... that's fine. But he can't be one of your top 3 options. His defense has been less than desirable. The Magic were actually worse defensively with him on the floor. Just one of those players who would work best as a 6th or 7th man. Life James Harden or Jamal Crawford Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

I watched all of their games either live or on TV and that simply is not true. He can't be the first scoring option, but that is the fault of the team's current make up. He doesn't have the right pieces around him yet. You can complain about some inconsistencies in shooting, but not his defense........EVER! mamasa, Crimson and Cream and JaybobHoosier 3 Quote

Though I'd put him a bit lower than that personally. Harden is meant for a 6th man spot. Score in bunches but have options ahead of him so he has energy to play defense. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BtownBanners mobile app Are we talking about the same James Harden that the players voted as the MVP last season? There aren't any options ahead of him in Houston (have you seen them try and score without him?) and he is one of the most dominant offensive players in the game. He's EASILY a top 10-15 player in the game. He is NOT meant to be a bench player. IUfan_Charlie, mamasa, mdn82 and 1 other 4 Quote

Arguably the best 6th man ever. That is his thing everywhere he goes. The dude can ball though. Harden can ball.. but he makes JBJ look like Kawhi Leonard in the defensive end. Harden should never be your best player. Or 2nd. OKC saw that. Houston hasnt because they have the dumbest people in power who believe analytics is the end all and be all. X-Hoosier Posted May 13, 2016 Posted May 13, 2016 No, OKC saw that they had Westbrook and Kevin Durant. And got rid of Harden. They didn't just let him walk. They saw something before that happened and basically gave him up for nothing. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SM-G900A using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
