Class of '66 Old Fart Posted October 30, 2017 Posted October 30, 2017 Way to go Vic. Tweets from Stu Jackson. Victor Oladipo named NBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week after averaging 28.7 pts, 4.0 rebs, 2.7 assists in 3 games last week. Oladipo also shot 60.4 percent from the field and 60 percent from 3-point range in 31.2 minutes per game during that stretch. Stromboli, FloridaHoosierGirl, ALASKA HOOSIER and 3 others 6 Quote

CSP Posted November 1, 2017 Posted November 1, 2017 Oladipo is also shooting at a high percentage for the 1st time ever lol Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners https://www.sports-reference.com/cbb/players/victor-oladipo-1.htmlActually.. he shot a career 54% from the field at IU. As a JR he shot 60% from the field and 44% from 3. In the NBA he's shot 44% from the field in his career and 35% from 3. 80% from the FT line. Pretty solid shooting. WayneFleekHoosier Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 The LeBron at PG experiment isn't paying dividends. Cleveland is lost right now. Glad I can finally root for the Pacers again. Old Friend Posted November 2, 2017 Posted November 2, 2017 Love that he is getting the opportunity to be a primary scorer/go to on a team, and very happy it's the Pacers. The super teams can do what they want, but I think he, Sabonis, and Turner will be as formidable as any 3 some save Curry/Thompson/Durant. Love this team. They will be a top 4 seed. Class of '66 Old Fart Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 He's playing with so much confidence. We've had conversations about various IU players as to were they playing at IU or for IU. I'm not sure the Pacers have really had a "go to" guy since Reggie Miller who really wanted to play for the Pacers, but simply wore the uniform. Vic has a real opportunity to become a Pacer legend and be the face of the Pacers for a very long time. Stromboli, FloridaHoosierGirl, cljones1979 and 2 others 5 Quote
HoosierAloha Posted November 4, 2017 Posted November 4, 2017 Vic has had the personality to be the face of a franchise. He's now playing like it. Oladipo, Turner, Sabonis, Leaf is a solid young core.
