• Park Tudor forward Jaren Jackson Jr., one of the country's top prospects in the 2017 class, will have Indiana, Michigan, Stanford and UCLA in on Thursday at open gym. The 6-9 Jackson has offers from Butler, Georgetown, Indiana, IUPUI, Michigan State, Purdue, Vanderbilt and Xavier.

That's the only real one. And I know, that's why you have to steal their secrets. I'm sure they're still back in the kitchen.

 

But yeah, Willy (except that wasn't his name) the owner for the last 30 years or whatever passed away early this year and they weren't able to continue without him. It's sad, I do really hope he had someone paying close attention cooking under him. He had perfected a few classic diner dishes in a way I've never experienced before or since, it would be a true shame to have lost that knowledge.

 

Really makes you think about the impact you have in your short time in this world.

Jackson is an extremely long and athletic forward. He has an impressive 7’2 wingspan and has a soft touch in the paint that can be extended out to the 3-point line. While in the post, he can use either hand and can score in multiple ways. That being said, his shot blocking ability may be this strongest attribute currently. He has impeccable timing and remarkable bounce. He gets his hands on a lot of shot attempts and has the ability to change the course of the game with his shot altering ability. He’s a top prospect nationally and we expect his stock to continue to rise.

That's never good.

I knew Kyle growing up from playing against him in summer camps and other tournaments. Was a good guy and great shooter. Hope all is well.
