hoosierpap Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Now Hoosierpap---please share what you can about what you are hearing? Makes sense. I explained all that I've heard which isn't much - mutual interest, 100% cleared, planning on next season basketball-wise, one other school involved. I learned on here about the HH stuff being more serious. I still have nothing that I've heard or you've heard to make me feel Lyle will be on an academic scholarship other than a report from Zags before the season about Kasango and Holt which I am not putting any stock into. We'll see how it goes. rebelhoosier848891 1 Quote
hoosierpap Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 Also, i'm very hesitant to predict much in a Lyle situation. His history suggests unpredictability. I'm rooting for him wherever he ends up, but i'm not betting on him. mdn82, MemphisHoosier, rebelhoosier848891 and 3 others 6 Quote

sshoosier12 Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 Lyle is a very talented player. Previous history shows, that he is trouble off the court. Was a starter at Huntington prep academy this past season. Being from around his hometown, I've witness some of his off the court antics, hopefully he has and will continue to mature as a person and player! Go Hoosiers! Morgan OG Anunoby Thomas Bryant J. Lyle It would be a great class and fit our needs perfectly. 4 spots seem like too many but likely a possibility. I have to think Lyle/Bryant help one another. Realistically we don't get Lyle or Bryant though. Andrew_114 1 Quote

ChiHoosier5 Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 So 100% cleared means he will have no issues getting admitted to IU? Is that what you mean Hoosierpap? hoosierpap and rebelhoosier848891 2 Quote
hoosierpap Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 So 100% cleared means he will have no issues getting admitted to IU? Is that what you mean Hoosierpap? Yup, was made pretty clear on that. I realize the Albers report still questions that aspect of things. ChiHoosier5 1 Quote
rebelhoosier848891 Posted October 29, 2014 Posted October 29, 2014 Just to clarify hoosierpap---do you mean qualified for IU now?---at the break?-----or for 2015? ChiHoosier5 1 Quote

Missouri seems to have a new slime factor. Baylor North. This whole Lyle thing has me a little skeptical. IU Bud Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 How long has Crean known about Troy and Stan's positive drug tests? Could our interest in Lyle be a result of some plan to not allow one, or both of them back next year? Specifically I am thinking about Stan. The fake ID incident wasn't a major deal to me at the time, but he has now had a second violation. How many times can he get in trouble before Crean has had enough? Lyle would somewhat replace Stan by position and be an upgrade in talent. There were posts in this thread as far back as October 26th with someone mentioning failed drug tests. Were there rumors about this before the announcement? I had no idea and hadn't heard a thing. With these current issues with multiple players, someone with a questionable past should be given a wide berth. hoosierpap 1 Quote

Popular Post hoosierpap Posted November 10, 2014 Popular Post Posted November 10, 2014 Lyle Enjoyed LSU Visit [ At this point, Lyle will likely spend the year at IMG and go to a college in the fall of 2015, although he also mentioned possibly going in March. “January’s out of the question but next fall or possibly March,” Lyle said. “I wouldn’t play until next year.” ] mamasa, Happydaze, IUsafety and 5 others 8 Quote
