But, but, but...I thought CTC and Calbert were, like, sooooooo not besties anymore! OMG! ;)
I'd be interested to hear how Calbert responded though... Would have been really cool to have him back.

I caught the introduction of Coach Martin on ITH and came away impressed. Sounds like Coach Martin is bringing a plethera of skills to Bloomington. I was intrigued with the discussion of player development.

This guy's pretty funny lol

@ChuckMartinIU: I listen to the people ! User name has been changed !!!

Now he just needs to have some of the players teach him how to type out tweets. Attempts at hashtags are as follows, "# you get better at IU !!!" Give him a follow if you haven't yet.

If you don't follow him on Twitter, it appears as though he's been biking around campus and stopping to talk with and take pictures with everyone he sees. He's may become a fan favorite pretty quickly once he starts pulling in recruits.

Good to see he is making the rounds on campus but he needs to make the rounds on recruits.

I would argue that it is easier to sell something you understand, and in our case love.  I am all for Chuck experiencing Bloomington.

Get this man a bucket of Nick's fries and some Roy's stuffed breadsticks for his campus roadshow!

@super16JimCouch: @jimcouchsuper16 is saying to @franfraschilla to tell the college coaches that NYC is re-emerging as the area for top-level D1 guards #elite

IU's coach should stick to Indiana, Illinois, and Ohio. Knight did it. It must still work now.

Gotta love our fanbase!

Let's do both---Midwest and East Coast ballers should be a lethal mix to keep us in contention for years to come!

And don't forget to sprinkle in others from other areas---- like TJ Leaf of California!

We want to recruit Indiana first---but IU is a national basketball program---not just a Midwest program!

No, I'm pretty sure if we just had Indiana high school recruits we would never lose a game.  I mean even the 3* recruits from Indiana are better basketball players than any kid on the right coast.

Capobianco--Ohio

Hollowell--Indiana

Etherington--Indiana

Patterson--Indiana

Fischer--Wisconsin

Abell--Kentucky

Likely coincidence but maybe not. IMHO I don't see why IU shouldn't go after the DMV area and the NY area. Those kids are mentally tougher than kids around here it seems. There is no doubt IU must recruit the state all out all of the time. But it's different than it used to be.

Very, very few kids are coming because it's IU basketball. They are coming to play for the coach/coaching staff.
