Thomas Bryant doing some positive recruiting of Rawle for us at an AAU tournament in Fischers.

Thomas Bryant was here to watch Rawle Alkins and told him "We can take IU by storm." #iubb

Dang...it's a shame I cannot 'like' this post more than once.

Nothing groundbreaking here, but fwiw...

Indiana will still recruit Rawle Alkins after landing Curtis Jones http://zagsblog.com/articles/curtis-jones-to-indiana/ …

I still wonder how the fact the we already have Curtis Jones to handle the ball will affect  Brown and Rawle. It will now allow both of them to come in and play off the ball. That might be more desirable to them

I doubt it was ever a part of the plan for Rawle to be a primary ballhandler. Brown I'm not sure about. If he wants to be off ball, yeah it would help. If he wants it in his hands, Cujo is likely capable of playing the role Rojo did last year.

I agree with Hov. Adding Jones shouldn't deter others who want to handle the ball. Jones is a combo guard who can play both guard positions. Rawle, at small forward, can also initiate the offense in the dribble drive on many occasions.

I wasn't saying it would deter anyone, I just was saying that it takes pressure off others having to handle to ball. But I realized earlier today that Jones is more of a combo that can play point instead of being purely a point guard. Rawle and Brown are both combo guards as well, so I think the three of them could play well together. Still hoping the ship hasn't sailed on Rawle, but it seems to have died down
