Think we can use a 6'2 kid in the paint? I might not be able to dunk or block shots, but I lead every pick up game in rebounds with my fundamentally sound boxing out.  :laugh:

I'm not a student, my eligibility is up, and I threw out my back playing 1 on 1 with my 14 year old neighbor this evening...but this seems like fun! Might look into it :)

Practice for Montreal is going well! Of course our new coach is awesome... Had a possible transfer workout for us. He could play right away if he picks IU... he had some game! Things are in the up swing!

He was a role player in the MVC and a so-so shooter (35% from 3, 37% overall last year).  I don't see that translating well to the B1G.

I saw an Illinois State board comment that Nick Zeisloft could fill a similar role for IU (albeit at a slightly different position) that John Ekey filled for the Illini last year. That is; veteran, stable, smart, above average shooter, good locker room presence.

 

If so, that would be a good use of one of our two open schollys for next year.

I'm not saying that he's the second coming of Henry Iba, but...
