Thought he was sitting a year. Could be wrong.

And Giddens most likely.

I looked into it with Thompson a little.  Unless there's been updates that I missed he will most likely have to sit, but he could petition for a waiver due to his father's medical condition.

Either way it's good for OSU.  He's eligible and they get another big body, he sits and it's a year to practice and develop to take over after Lee leaves.

just had a patient in office who is associated with the IUFB team.  He said the anti-crean sentiment in Bloomington is THICK.  As we all know, it sounds like this year may be a make or break year for CTC.

I personally would love to see him succeed!!!!  Go Tom Crean!

Maybe he's just tired of fielding basketball questions.

We were talking football. He brought up the Crean comments on his own.

I think, as a consensus, people want him to succeed, but some including myself lost some faith after some of those ridiculous substitutions last season. Not to mention other commonly mentioned mistakes. Now, that the recruiting is stinking, people are fed up.

@TomCrean: Early morning workouts with the Hoosiers. They INSPIRE me with how much they INSPIRE EACH OTHER. The Chemistry is forming. Off to recruit.

How's the team chemistry looking, bbal4iu?

Steering away from relieving one's self...I've watched a few of the games from 2012-13 on B1G Network today and can't help but think how much Remy would've helped us on the court last year.

Watching the second Michigan game and thinking the same thing. I was never a big Remy fan, thought he was ok, but thought the fanbase overrated him, but he would have been a calming influence and leader last year.

The other that struck me, and I've always felt this, is that Michigan team had more talent than IU. They had 5 first round draft picks on that team. We had more experience, but they were more talented.

How?

His jump shot was broken, if you believe 25% of what we've read on here, his presence would not have helped the leadership/chemistry issues, and he would have taken minutes away from Stan, which was painful at times but was a good investment for the future.

Look at what BGleas just said and apply that to my answer. And like I said, he would've been nice on the court. I understand why he isn't here anymore if what was said on here is true, and I agree with it if it is. He wasn't a great player, but a servicable bench player that would've been a Junior. Having another older guy that has played in some huge games couldn't have been a bad thing at all. That team needed some experience on the floor (Among A LOT of other things).
