The Cubs got better, the pirates are about the same and the Cardinals are the Cardinals so they'll always be good. It honestly wouldn't shock me if 2 teams in that division win 100 games next year. LIHoosier Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Congrats to Jr and Piazza for being inducted into the Baseball HOF. Three writers didn't vote for Ken Griffey Jr. Really? JaybobHoosier 1 Quote

JSHoosier Posted January 7, 2016 Posted January 7, 2016 Congrats to Jr and Piazza for being inducted into the Baseball HOF. Three writers didn't vote for Ken Griffey Jr. Really? If Greg Maddux wasn't a unanimous Hall of Famer, I doubt if anyone will be. What's astonishing about there never being a unanimous HoFer is that it means someone didn't vote for friggin' Babe Ruth. Naturalhoosier Posted January 7, 2016 Author Posted January 7, 2016 No Bags? :( Maybe next year! Quote

Babe was on the first year and there wasn't a lot of regulations for voters, he's not even one of the Top 10 in matter of percentages of votes. mdn82 1 Quote
Naturalhoosier Posted February 17, 2016 Author Posted February 17, 2016 Time to talk baseball! It's close enough! I like this report (hint hint, Astros picked to win the AL West). I've seen a lot of bandwagon love for the Cubs, some for the Dodgers, a smidge for the Royals to repeat. Reds? Nada. Sorry Cincy fans. I think I saw some love for the White Sox too...but that was probably someone clicking the wrong Chicago team from the list (hehehe). JaybobHoosier 1 Quote

Scooter D Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 They'll be in a battle with my Phillies for worst team in baseball. Lol At least you can watch them in that sweet park...the stupid Braves are moving to the suburbs next year and there is no way that I am going to go there. For a week night game, start time 7pm, I will have to leave my house...in the city...by at least 3 or 4pm. It is going to be a nightmare. I would much rather watch a game in south Philly than the Atlanta suburbs. Quote
