I'd guess there will be guys standing in line to be walk ons... Sorry, no offense the the 2 other walk ons(not Marlin) that are leaving, but I bet there are better players on an avg co'ed team.  Good luck to you guys and to your academic successes!

I get what you are saying and I understand your desire to verify information. Its difficult to accept what someone says when the words "trust me" are involved or its on a message board. I understand your skepticism.

When was that pic taken?
It was posted on twitter today but this was in fact taken before an IU game earlier in the season.

Figured it was older, was posted on this site a day or two ago.

Saw that same look about 2 seconds after the Watshot too.

I've just followed message boards long enough to be very skeptical of a poster "in the know" no disrespect to anyone here, it's just how it is

This is the way I am, and I am a mod.  It is few and far in between where someone is 100% accurate.  I completely understand why someone would be this way.

Ah, the old we know but we can't tell you peons because we're special and you aren't routine. You guys just have to trust us.

nice

In all honesty what do you expect them to do, reveal a poster's identity, or their sources? Just be content that the information is solid, and you're getting it on a free message board.

I saw Fagen not returning, and you said not Marlin. Is someone else leaving?

And I don't think asking for context/sourcing on why to trust someone with these allegations is unfair

Its not unfair for you too ask, but thats all the answer your getting from the mods here. You don't have to believe it, that's your prerogative. No harm, no foul.

They started showing up small for me too. This happened the same day as my edit function screwed up. If I click on edit my post doesn't show up to be edited.
I used to get the << things in my posts too especially if I spaced. I asked a few people in the board but never for an answer. I went back to the standard help desk junk you used to get like "reboot your computer" and deleted the app then reloaded it and viola no more thingies when I space.

Try that.

Should we also then conclude that the other part of his posts about players not respecting coach were true too? If so, how does this reconcile with Doc Libby's comments saying the opposite?

It's a Dakich thing.

Not really, goes much further back than Dakich - he's just one of the more visible people using the phrase.  Idea is that the basketball shows the "truth" of things on the court.  For example, ref makes a bad call giving a player 1 and 1.  Player misses the front-end.  By saying "ball don't lie" you really mean "that call was terrible, incorrect, and unfair; missing the front end is fate making up for the bad call".

true, but he's been using it a bunch lately. I wasn't into a long explanation at the time, preparing dinner. I knew someone would come along and do it better. You were it. :)

Let's see if we can count the number of our players who weren't stoned or drunk on one hand. Damn, our team is resembling the early ABA teams with the substance abuse issues. After the drug issue with Sampson, I thought we would never go down this road again. It appears its much worse than that.
