I hope not.  I wouldn't call SMU a "marquee home game".  It's a good add, but I wouldn't call it marquee.

That's basically how I feel. Nice addition to the schedule but nothing to beat your chest about beating them at our place.

The sad thing is that SMU is playing us in an effort to boost their schedule, but if next year goes anything like this year, then SMU could again be in a position where the committee says that they didn't play anyone.

 

This season, SMU did actually play 10 teams with a higher Pomeroy rating than us. They won four of those games.

Trey Lyles is just like his dad: arrogant and disrespectful. Indiana gave him a full ride to play basketball and he committed. He chose to decommit. He chose to go to UK. What did we do to you Trey? Maybe you just have to vindicate yourself in your own mind from meeting with Cal while you were committed and basically throwing a middle finger to the program by basically not even re-opening your recruitment. Have fun in your one year with UK with the inevitable early out in the tourney or the NIT. Taking pot shots shows the class of an individual and Trey has shown nothing except he lacks class from the whole UK deal through tweeting that garbage.

Immature kid doing something stupid, and instead of thinking before hitting send he just went ahead and hit send. Just makes him look dumber because he felt the need to take a shot at a university that he strung along with his "commitment"

Meh. There are two sides to this one. A lot of IU fans have had a ton of bad things to say about Lyles and a certain talking head has as well. If it's OK for people to trash talk about him, it's OK for him to give it back.

Nice addition but we need more. Cut the majority of the 200+ teams from the schedule. Throw in one or two more RPI top 75ish teams, play in tourney with a solid field, and play a good home/home along with the B1G/ACC challenge. That along with the B1G schedule should have our SOS top 20.
