Just saw the trailer for the new Marc Maron doc, “Are We Good?” Like Maron a lot, but was on the fence about it because I thought it might be a little rough watching 90 mins about his significant other passing and rebuilding his life. Then I saw the trailer and the music playing over it is Farewell Transmission by the great Jason Molina.and Songs: Ohia. That is literally God saying, “D, you need to see this.” Sometimes the universe gives you no choice.

The Offspring are going to be in Evansville this February, and I have been giving major hints what I want for Christmas.  LOL  The wife told me that I would have to go to an Alan Jackson concert with her and her sisters if she gets the tickets.  I have to think about that one.

Bittersweet music night tonight. Going to see 1 of my all time favorite garage/bar bands, Bloomington’s own Murder by Death, on their farewell tour. Love those guys. Seen them maybe 8 or 10 times. It’s a small venue, seats maybe 700, so I really hope they hang around a bit after the show. I want to buy those guys a drink.

This is a favorite. Will be crazy disappointed if they don’t play it.
