OliviaPope40 Posted December 27, 2025 Posted December 27, 2025 From my mom earlier this morning: Maggie's water broke and then she delivered last night at 27 weeks. Baby is stable and the heart conditions are what we thought. Nothing worse. Some good points: vitals are good, blood gases good, good flow of blood and oxygen, lungs look good. He needs to grow in the NICU for probably 2-3 months. Maggie had C Section and is fine. He has what is known as DORV with a sub aortic ventricular septal defect. Quote
OliviaPope40 Posted December 28, 2025 Posted December 28, 2025 Plan in the morning is a 6:00 X-Ray and then sometime later they will insert a colostomy bag into his belly to help him poop. I'm told she will get to go home on Wednesday. Coop will be in the NICU after he is done and hopefully can develop. I'll have more news tomorrow. Quote
OliviaPope40 Posted December 28, 2025 Posted December 28, 2025 What's really helpful is that my brother in law's father is a Neonatologist who has seen everything under the sun with premature babies. Pagoda 1 Quote
OliviaPope40 Posted December 28, 2025 Posted December 28, 2025 Successful colostomy insertion but they found some other issues during the surgery that they will address later but nothing else today. Quote

This is Hammy early in his career and he's definitely lost a step or two. Somebody needs to feed Hammy. Popular Post AZ Hoosier Posted July 13 Popular Post Posted July 13 Wanted to take a second and thank you all for your prayers for my grandson last year. I saw him yesterday and learned that his doctor has released him to play football in his senior year of high school. Based on the x-rays. scans and initial diagnosis, this is nothing short of a miracle. Napleshoosier, hoosierfan6157, Demo and 12 others 15 Quote

8bucks Posted 20 hours ago Posted 20 hours ago This morning at about 9:30 a driver plowed into the Milligan University cycling team hitting 8 of the 9 riders. 2 died at the site. 5 others are in the hospital. My daughter goes here and while the athletic community is very tight, the entire school is as well. One of the riders is a friend of my daughter and while still in the hospital, seems to be doing well can you imagine getting that call as a parent or making that call as the school president? School starts next week and only athletes are around now Send some prayers for these poor families and for students who lost teammates and friends hoosierfan6157, jepwatso, AZ Hoosier and 4 others 7 Quote
