One less game and a clear path to the natty. If UCLA beats OSU in the Big Ten Championship. I don’t think we get a bye 13-0 big ten champs would have to get the bye over us. And they don’t like to punish teams for conference championship game losses so unlikely we jump OSU. Winner of Notre Dame and Miami is going to get one And then the SEC champs We need some help with one of them losing. That being said if this is the last year of the big ten championship and with unbalanced schedules. This might be the last year where we have a definitively crowned champion. Would be nice for it to be us skhoosier2 and BtownStrength 2 Quote

BuyGame Tickets Michigan had one.*******.penalty. Well when you are used to the refs doing things like add an extra second onto a game for you, it makes any call that goes against you seem unfair.... Yep saw somebody claiming that them not getting the penalty on the FG attempt was them helping IU. lol no they were trying to help you. You losers just couldn’t cooperate IUCrazy2 1 Quote
iu2win Posted Sunday at 05:28 PM Posted Sunday at 05:28 PM I'm curious if Chandler was kept out due to giving up the fumble last week. I still like Chandler over Morris all day. IU needs a third receiver who can consistently get separation and help take pressure off Becker and Marsh. Also, it sure would be nice to return some kicks; fair catching every time is giving up some field position on each drive. Quote

Stuhoo Posted yesterday at 04:41 PM Posted yesterday at 04:41 PM You hear everyone associated with IUFB repeat the “Do your job” mantra. As Cig said today, many times a player tries to make a big play and therein doesn’t do their job. This is the video of the biggest defensive play of the Michigan game. Tobi has responsibility for the QB but it’s a third and one very likely running down and the play starts with a strong play fake to the running back. Tobi does his job. IU wins. Btw: watch the Michigan tight end break ten yards open on this one. If Carr has any time at all it’s a touchdown. Hardwood83, jermhoosierfan, skhoosier2 and 1 other 4 Quote
iu2win Posted yesterday at 04:51 PM Posted yesterday at 04:51 PM I think the CFP seedings/matchups will go a long way in determining the eventual winner. For example, if IU is matched up with less mobile, more pocket QB's it favors IU; getting paired with a very mobile QB not so much. I'm sure that's obvious but perhaps not so much for all 12 teams who make the CFP. Quote

Match ups will definitely be key…with that said, I do think we have a better handle on mobile QBs since the adjustments we made in the 2nd half of the Nebraska game skhoosier2 1 Quote
