One could argue we did schedule scrimmages to knock off the rust. 

They are but if this recent development where a 10th P4 game becomes standard for a 24 team CFP, us and others are gonna have to shape up quicker.

Hottest temperature ever recorded was 134 in Death Valley.  It is not 152 in Memorial Stadium.  Maybe inside your car in the parking lot!

134 is the air temp. The 152 would be the surface of the field.

I expected it to be a bit better. O line has looked meh. Again I’ll hope it has to do with the heat. We definitely need Khobie this season so I hope it’s not as serious as the X rumors are saying.

Offense looks good already. Defense is concerning but trying to remember how underwhelming the first game last year was. It’s brutal in the stands though, I can only imagine what it feels like on the field. Kinda disappointed that the stands have largely emptied out, but I get it.
