Links with a little more background.  Someone asked about his weight and one of the links below said he weighed 98kg (that's 216 lbs. with shoes and a full head of hair).

Get him here and start feeding him some American Pizza and Cheeseburgers.  LOL

  • He is only 18, so a true freshman in age.
  • He has a really big, athletic, strong frame. The only thing he physically has in common with Andrej Acimocic is height and continent of origin.
  • As Demo stated so well; this is the fourth big; now we need the third.
  • As a fourth big? Sure! He's a lottery ticket athlete that might learn how to play.

Good take.  I don’t think we are aiming higher, though.  Hope so. German B league pro translates to about D2 hoops in the states. Just an FYI.

A 7 foot guy is nice to have on the bench so I don’t hate it.

Weird one for Ryan Carr to get attached to.  The only direct one I know of.

Knowing that Carr has a relationship with the agent, I’m hoping that the agent proved to Carr that this kid has a very high ceiling and is worth the investment.

The fact that the previous player we tried to grab was Wang, I would envision that we will be looking for player who can play the 4….but that leaves options of guys who could play the 4 and 5 or 3 and 4.  There is something to be said about adding a combo forward who can hit from distance (although that might be Sisley).

That’s kinda my point. Hope so.  Carr getting his name attached to what appears to be a practice player strikes me.  But, I guess that’s what the GM does. Find best value for the price you are willing to spend.

A longer highlight package from Mike. Obviously a long term play, but the 1st 3 things I look at with young project bigs are can he move his feet, can he fluidly change direction and does he fight the ball. In this kid’s case the answers look to be yes, yes and no. That’s a good jumping off point.

I like that contact around the rim doesn't seem to completely blow him up.   For a kid who won't be counted on to play a ton yet, first glance is positive for sure.
