Season opener Wednesday evening televised on basic BTN.  Last year's A&M team finished 10-22.  It's roster consists of 11 redshirt juniors or seniors so there is a lot of college level experience on the team.  Next Sunday our Hoosiers face Marquette in Chicago at 1:00 ET with the game televised on ESPN.

Tonight, Monday 11/2, Alabama A&M opens the season hosting the Blue Mountain College Toppers at 8 ET.  

The team was ranked No. 6 in the SWAC preseason poll for the upcoming season, which was announced in October 2025. 

First year as head coach at Alabama A&M, Donte' Jackson comes from Grambling where he previously got that team into the NCAAT and was named conference coach of the year.  "7 p.m. from the AAMU Event Center and streamed on SWAC TV." IAW below link.

Alabama A&M beat Blue Mountain Christian College last night 80 - 60.

• James Graham III finished with 18 points, on 8-of-14 shooting, along with five rebounds and one block
• Peyton Daniels Sr. recorded 18 points (three shy of tying a career high), six boards and one assist
• PJ Eason led the way on the glass with nine boards.

The Bulldogs are ranked No. 345 overall and No. 9 among SWAC teams inSports Illustrated Kevin Sweeney's preseason rankings of all 365 teams. KenPom ranked Alabama A&M 320th nationally.

Kintavious Dozier was Alabama A&M's lone representative on the preseason All-SWAC first team, and the team did not have anyone on the second team. Dozier played the last two seasons at Grambling State, where he averaged 12.7 points in two years."

No. There are different types of suck:

1. Dickie V is a Duke-slurping way past his prime oldhead. 
2. Bruce Weber talks funny.
3. Kattz has no on court knowledge.
4. Shon Morris says dumb stuff routinely.
5. Donny Marshall is wrong yet extremely over confident.

Hummell is none of those suck varities; yet suck he does.

PS: Brian Butch is a great great human. We must require his announcing presence at all times.

I just don't have anything positive to say about BTN's choice of announcers.

But I was thinking Spongebob announcing something unrelated to basketball...maybe cowtipping.
