FWIW, there are some sketchy links showing up in the comments section of the IU basketball facebook page claiming to be for the game tonight. Proceed at your own risk.

This off season I've had so little interest in IU basketball.  I watched uninspired as we built a staff and team.  I wonder if the excitement is gone.

But today I'm hoping for a sketchy Serbian stream of the game.  I'd even pay per view it.  Sooo...maybe the excitement is still alive?

I’ve been the same. Think it’s 25 years of futility mixed with not knowing anyone coming back. That’s not a knock against CDD but just the state of things.  
 

But I’ll reads the recaps tomorrow morning. And when Nov rolls around I’ll be excited to see what these guys can do. Doubt I can stay interested in another failure very long, though.

Time will tell, but I am pretty confident DeVries will not be a failure. I don’t know how well we’ll be competing in the B1G over the next couple of seasons but I see a guy with a wealth of experience, running a modern offense, already hitting recruiting well with a very solid recruiting assistant staff, what so far looks to be team building chemistry with players who share the ball, and a guy who is both pretty hardcore and demanding by all accounts in practice and engaging publicly. I like what we’re seeing so far, jaded as we are from moronic Mike and catatonic CAM.

Nobody would be putting up links early for something like this anyway. If someone is doing some hack stream, they'll put it up on YouTube when it starts.

Refresher for those that may have missed it on Thursday or just aren't active on X, but the accounts below did a reasonably good job with frequent game updates.  Osterman's blog is not behind the Indy Star paywall.  Thursday night he gave brief updates midway thru each quarter and a longer narrative update at the end of each quarter.  Since tonight is expected to be a far more competitive game, he may be more active in his updates.

I’ve taken a break from the board for the last few months. It wasn’t intentional but just a reflection on my enthusiasm or lack there of. I hope this team can play a fun style, play with heart and effort and see them improve as the season goes on. Hoping I can get excited again
