They are playing extremely hard, so I will give Wade credit for that especially with all the rumors swirling.  But Wade has always felt like a Calipari type coach.  Get a bunch of talent and just roll the ball out and let them ball.

They certainly are doing that today. I have to admit that I've never really paid attention to his teams, but yikes.

McNeese is playing so hard, but so wild. They do make Clemson look really slow, though, so there's that.

To be fair, Will Wade is a gangsta.  Duke and UNC will have serious competition.

If this is an example of his system, he's going to have to recruit like a mother, though.

You're not going to be able to "out athletic" the likes of Duke or UNC on the regular.

No idea. His team looks awful. He could be the second coming of Knight getting those scrubs a 5 seed for all I know.

Tough watch, either way.

There’s absolutely no beauty here…just frenetic out of control energy.  Enjoyable to watch?  Nope…not for me.

He's an elite recruiter.  Like Cal or Matta at OSU before all his health problems.  Assuming NCST has decent NIL he'll go to FFs.

BYU plays some pretty basketball.

I think they're poised to become a powerhouse with their NIL resources. Read somewhere that they're paying close to $7 million for Dybantsa. Tons of rich Mormons in SLC and Provo lol

They are going to have to have caps, it's already getting out of hand!

Yep. “Sleeping giant” can be overused, but it fits BYU. If they choose to use it, they have SEC football money. I would imagine their problem would be not budging on their standards.

My brother-in-law works for a firm based out of SLC founded by a bunch of BYU tech bros. The entire board are BYU boosters and ridiculously loaded. TBH I'm surprised it's taken this long for BYU to start fully weaponizing their resources. I expect them to be a serious power in football and basketball in the coming years.
