Probably due to the Xmas break. But tend to think we’ll see attendance continue to drop if as now looks likely the team continues to play poorly under Woodson’s lack of coaching

Same thing with the prior game I noticed the same thing and given that it was a noon game. Did not hear a number on how many were in attendance or if Jeremy Gray even announced the number. I also did not see a lot of people in the balconies either.

I like Tucker. Tons of potential. Unfortunately he’s an odd fit with this team. In that role we need somebody who can play off the ball and knock down 3s. Tucker likes to dribble into his shot in the midrange.

Honestly I think Galloway is in the same spot where he excels with the ball in his hands and when he starts he has to play almost purely off ball.
These team has talent that needs coached desperately.

Agreed. Tucker’s midrange is pretty good but that’s just not playing to the percentages of winning basketball. I would like him to channel Good Troy and be a baseline cutter, transition guy. Get to the rack on those pindown curls or hit the open shooter if the drive isn’t open.

Galloway is actually a good PnR PG. Better than Rice. But Rice is fair superior with the dribble drive. Gallo’s shooting a good percentage but his shot still isn’t trusted by his teammates or the other teams. Ball doesn’t get to him much unless it’s a reset.

They were not all filled, balcony had quite a few empty….and believe me that’s what they announced

Your number is the one officially reported. The Score app pulls attendance numbers from the box score and that's what they have.

My problem is that it’s based on what he did against Winthrop.  I’m glad he’s an option at least.

No, it’s every time he gets any type of minutes, they just seem like positive minutes.  Role players who know their role and accept it have been hard to find on a MW coached team.  He reminds of role players like Sloan, Kreigh Smith, Joe Hillman, Todd Jadlow, AJ Moye, etc…. Guys who knew their role and played it without complaining and done what it takes for the team to win games.  I personally don’t see that on very many of the current rotation players.  I would say Ballo but the rumor I heard why he didn’t play definitely doesn’t put him as doing anything to help the team win.

I remember one game Dick Vitale having an orgasm calling out the multiple screens set by Dr. Sloan.  These younger kids are really missing out.  :)

Yes!  There is always room for a player who knows and plays his role.  I really don’t see it from most of the other players, they seem to try to get theirs

In the spirit of full disclosure, yes it was a vacation.  But, it was a working vacation.  I made stops at several different Caribbean islands, who must remain anonymous, to check on the Mods retirement investment portfolios.  I'm not going to go into details, but suffice it to say our accounts are performing exponentially better than Mike Woodson's coaching acumen.

SHHHHHH...

Now you've gone and done it!

Semi-serious question: How much would someone have to pay you to wear this Woody hat?

Untitled.jpg

You'd have to pay me what Woodson is getting paid to wear that, side note if that guy actually supports Woody that is some serious side eye he's giving him. "You serious Woody? This is what my support gets me?"

The side eye is because he is thinking, why in the heck did make me wear this crappy hat

So does this mean IU men’s basketball is ranked Monday morning?

Yes, we hope the administration thinks this program is in the tank!  Oh, you mean rank, like the stinkiest cheese!

I don’t know what rumor you heard about Ballo but Woody said his coaches would get together to ‘talk about the Ballo situation’ so it likely wasn’t an injury thing.

That is the rumor.  It wasn’t an injury issue but was seen at a nightclub or bar type late on the night before a game.  I guess his picture wasn’t blasted all over twitter

Looks Iike Peacock is running a special again this year ….. from $80 down to $30 for a year.

Q is ….. is it worth it to watch 5 IU games January thru March?

I think I’ll do it. I like the misery and frustration the Woodster coached team puts me through. Besides, could be witnessing the end of this disastrous era.
