Ballo not as good as I thought. I feel like we haven’t used him in transition like I remember Arizona doing. I certainly don't remember Ballo in transition much at Arizona. He's a D and rebounder who gets quite a few points on putbacks. I think the thought of IU being a 10 seed is more about the lack of trust in the coaching, but I certainly don't think the results have been that of a 10 seed. But the team has shot the ball better from deep even with the nothing they have gotten from Goode. The volume hasn't been there but 20 of 51 from three through three games is a set of numbers I'd take. HinnyHoosier and str8baller 2 Quote

Rice, maybe? Quote
Stuhoo Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Up 11 at the half. In the second half? Smallest lead 9. Biggest lead 18. Final score win by 16. That’s solid. And our bench rotation guys of Gallo, Tucker, and Goode allows for unlimited combinations. IUHoosier5, RaceToTheTop, Home Jersey and 1 other 4 Quote

IUHoosier5 Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Seeing Mgbako had 17. Was I watching the same game as you guys? That seems like a quiet 17. Stuhoo 1 Quote
Dave from Dayton Posted November 16, 2024 Author Posted November 16, 2024 Is Reneau ok? Otherwise, why sitting at the end? Best play was Carlyle's alley-3. Quote

hoosierdogg Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Plays of the game, the alley oop from Rice to Carlyle, for style points, and the Carlyle alley OOPS three, for entertainment! HoosierHoopster and Dave from Dayton 2 Quote

HinnyHoosier Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 I'll preface this by noting I wasn't able to see the game and only caught about the last 4 minutes on the airwaves. But from what I gather via the commentary both on the radio and on here it seems like the second half lack of flow can be credited in part to the officials. It's hard for teams to get any rhythm or flow going when there's a whistle every 30 seconds. thebigweave and HoosierHoopster 2 Quote

Home Jersey Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Going to rewatch when I’m less distracted by these rugrats but solid margin victory. Not sure how good SCar will be but a win is always good. Plenty of room for improvement as there should be in November and plenty of stuff to be encouraged about too. Look forward to Atlantis to give us a real sense of what this team is capable of doing this year. Quote
DChoosier Posted November 16, 2024 Posted November 16, 2024 Before I get jumped on….yes I know we sucked last year. That being said, and agreed upon, we did win by 16 today. Last year we only won one out of conference game by that amount (North Alabama by 17). From a metric standpoint I would guess we are off to a better start (as we should be).
