Per release, Sara Scalia’s 27 points this afternoon is Indiana’s new single-game record in the NCAA Tournament. Was previously set 41 years ago by Denise Jackson. 89 points by Indiana is also another record.

Also today, Sara recorded her 100th 3-pointer on the season.

Not controversial at all!! She’s a freaking machine and so easy to cheer for! Every season, there’s one I’ll miss (over the obvious)- last season was Berger, this is Scalia!!

Love how direct he is, and many of the same things we’ve been saying here — stubbornly clinging to outdated notions of post play, making excuses, etc. 

interesting point about the women now being the last standing D1 team from the Indiana - Kentucky region.

Does Rick not have the ability to talk, garner interest in his articles about womens basketball without taking shots at the mens team?
