Agreed - under Pope he has regressed. But if our current staff cannot develop, scheme, and motivate better than Pope we're screwed anyway. A combination of Estrella and Garrison would be a monumental upgrade at the 5 for IU.

They're going to get more than 4 portal players, especially if Olsen is one of them.

5.  Active rebounder on both ends, blocks shots.  TN bigs missed a lot of shots at the rim, I assume Estrella was part of that but I haven’t seen the advanced stats.

He's 6-11 240 and played the 5 at UT

Per 40- he avged 22p 12r

I like this...except the post depth. Would rely on Acimovic (Redshirt Frosh Euro kid) or Harris (undersized, recovering from injury) as the back-up Center. Fatigue/fouls/injuries and we are really hurting in the middle.

Fair point.. 

I wouldn't think Harris would STILL be recovering by next year, but... I think Estrella+Harris would > Alexis+Bailey... by a lot.

Bennett is a Top 20 pick and was 1st team all league...

Last year was arguably the least athletic IU team I've seen in over 60 years watching them. The 5 you just laid somehow one ups last years team which I didn't think was possible.

Olsen and Dorn as starters would be no bueno for our defense/rebounding. A lot like last years team. 

If one of them is gonna get big minutes then the other spot HAS to be someone that can defend at this level.
