Basically it comes to whether IU is looking for a guy to be a backup post for Ballo or if they are looking for a combo 4/5 backup.  The biggest problem with going with a combo 4/5 backup is if Ballo gets hurt.  Pros and cons to both.  NK offers plus rebounding, okay D.  Doubt offensively he will score much.  But you aren’t going to get everything from a guy slated for a backup roll

Hate to keep harping on the kid -- I shared a highlight video of him in the general transfer portal thread.  Below is a different one -- it's from high school and it's mostly dunks and blocks.  But check out the dunk at about the 5 second mark and see if it doesn't remind you of a very famous missed dunk (except Lawal makes it).

 

Does VCU also have a 6’ 11” guy in the portal? Wheeler iirc
