That is the best news that I've heard all year. Seriously. He's been horrible for IU sports, specifically men's basketball.

At least he had a Big 10 Championship and 2 Sweet 16 appearances (1 Elite 8). But yea, 2022-2023 season started his downfall, should have been 2021-2022 too if they had missed the tournament.

Stevens has publicly stated in interviews, while with the Celtics, that he enjoyed recruiting. 
 

The rumor about him not wanting to coach bc of recruiting is a total fabrication.
