Do you think Bubba pushed out Mack Brown without getting the support of his President? Do you think he’d push Hubert out without doing the same thing? If not, then they’re not conducting things any differently than we do.

The “compromise” by Dolson to let this go down this way saved us some good cash on the buyout. Lot of litigation today. Make no mistake about it, this was not Woody’s decision to retire.

Random people on a free message board in a fire Mike Woodson thread were calling for Woodson to be fired?    A little secret for you.  No one gives a crap about the why it won’t happen.  Doesn’t matter if they know the why they are going to post fire him tomorrow, the next day, the next day and the next day after that.  They posted they want him fired when you were in hibernation and they will continue to post they want him fired after you go back into hibernation.  Again no one cares about why he won’t get fired mid season they are going to continue to vent their frustrations of having well below college basketball coach run the program they are invested in

All the guys Woodson fired. Lol

Matta, Fife, Howard would probably have these guys playing reasonable basketball and holding them accountable.

Seriously though, just a hungry, respected voice. We might not have that on the staff after watching the huddles. Maybe just let Goode be a player coach. Save 7 million and let Galloway dad and Cupps dad coach them. Seriously.

Haven’t posted in defense of Woodson et al. I’ve merely tried to explain how, why and when the powers-that-be do what they do.

Why will you be shocked if he is retained after the season?  Is there a groundswell to replace him when the season is over?

You should tell them they’re morons and that other universities are laughing at them for being so incompetent. Haven’t won anything since 87 and I’m so glad many more are waking up to the reason why.

No one cares the how and why 

Too be honest, I enjoy all of it.

I like saying ‘Fire Woodson’ when he deserves it. I like explaining why he deserves it. I don’t mind reading why it won’t happen. It’s all fair. At this point it’s 3 AM at the poker table and Woodys stack Is getting thin, he’s pushing all it and gambling. Only Woodson believes he will win. The rest of Casino knows he’s about to bust. In the Spring we get CoachSZN and PortalSZN and it’s going to be a glorious 2 months with Dolson aiming for the stars.

If he hasn’t broken through to a top three finish in the conference and a Sweet Sixteen tournament spot, I wouldn’t be at all surprised to see him replaced. If those results aren’t attained, I believe there will be sufficient momentum internally to go in a new direction. Remember, though, that Crean’s ending wasn’t a consensus-based decision. Somebody won that battle, though.

If there isn’t sufficient support, do you believe Dolson could, or would even try, to win a similar battle?
