Come on now.

The mods HAVE to be hiring some trolls to keep the engagement up in this forum. LOL

NGW (or whoever it was last Spring), Tyme, Cathy, etc...

This is just straight-up trolling at this point.

Ok, carry on...

This thread lost like 15 pages when NGW's account got deleted.

2024- Mcneese

SOS- 338

Games against the top 60 (0-1)

Games against the 150 + (23-1)

11-1 in games of 300+ included in the 23-1

4 games against non D1 teams that don’t count on the teams sheets

2025 so far

SOS-161

Games against the top 60 (1-2 ) home win N Texas at home

games against the top 150+ (13-1)

10 of those wins to 200+ teams

2 non D1 wins that don’t count on a team sheet.

How does that differentiate from any schedule McNeese St has played in the last 15 years? Are you seriously trying to knock the job Wade has done at one of the worst jobs in the country?

Let me answer for you 1.5 million vs 10 million. Sometimes you miss the thing that made you fall in love with the sport. Being a GM is boring but drawing up plays and coaching is exciting. Makes the blood flow.

Still telling your “ghost stories” I see.

He already turned down $10 million to begin with and voluntarily walked away from the sideline to become a GM. But yeah he wants to return at the collegiate level lol.

Let me just propose something here. Yes Stevens is a GM, and if he wanted to be a HC, what are even his possibilities that would be on level or better than IUBB? He doesn’t want the monotony of coaching a team like the Wizards. Being an NBA HC is less coaching more motivating.

If he wanted to get back into being a HC, I would love to see what landing spots are on our level or better.

And why is he at one of the worst jobs in the country? It’s a rhetorical question, but Sean Miller and Pitino are back at much bigger jobs.

It’s because he’s a despised slime bag who is considered one of the most corrupt coaches in the history of the game. There are other successful coaches at small schools that are not despised slime bags.

I didn't realize that's all he was making. 10 Million in Btown might as well be 50 compared to 1.5 in Boston lol.

Although personally I cannot imagine any person willingly living in Boston for any amount of money.

If Stevens really is the most likely candidate, I know people have mentioned the date of the NBA trade deadline as being a significant thing to keep an eye on. I’m curious to know how so? Let’s say 100% it’s going to be Brad, wondering how that would tie into Woodson being gone and if it’d trigger any now info or announcement of him being gone and Brad being the guy.

Because Brad will have little left to do for the Celtics.  You can then fire Woodson and bring in Brad as the interim.  He gets a head start with the current team and preparation for the portal.  Stay tuned.  :)

Will Wade will be a front runner for the North Carolina job when it’s open. Sean Miller and Rick Pitino weren’t given show-causes, that’s why. Will Wade had to take the fall for guys like Rick and Sean to survive.

Yikes. Have you ever lived in Boston or even been there?

It’s only a good place to live if you like incredible history, a clean, safe city, excellent public transportation, world class medical care, world class universities, world class arts, and world class food. It’s expensive, but if you make good money you’re gonna have to be against those other things to downvote Boston.

No matter how many times you say it, doesn’t make it true. He made a family decision. His kids said they wanted to stay in Boston. LOL

Stu or someone posted the GM numbers last week. I was also surprised how low he’s getting paid.

Will Wade’s criminal defense attorney (in best Joe Pesci voice), “Youse guys are gonna have ya let boss Ricky and capo Sean go if my guy is gonna do two years in McNeese Penitentiary.”
