I was asked to provide more details about the planes and what I know, so I figured I would post it here.  I somehow have found about 5 different planes that IU has used, is using, may use, ect.  Now I have conflicting details on which plane belongs to who, but have sorted out the mainly it is Ned Pfau and Fuzzy that either own or lease a plane, that IU has been using.  Appears they are tight with a guy that owns or operates the Clark Regional airport, so they have access to alot of different planes from there.  There have been various flights back and forth between Boca Raton (Ned's Place in FL) to either Clark Regional (Ned's place here) and then to Bloomington.  We had tracked 1 of these planes going down to pick up Cignetti shortly after he was hired.  So, where it got interesting is shortly after Christmas 1-3 of these planes had activity to Boston plus other surrounding areas.  I was going to try and copy all of this flight data into excel to see if I can make sense of any of it.  I am sure there are connections between some of these, but I am not sure it is worth my time.  I think everyone knows that Dolson is in contact with Stevens, I think the process of negotiating or offering is taking place.  Only thing I can prove is yes, we have had planes, involved with IU, making several trips to Florida, Boston, and Jeffersonville.  I think a lot of this is expected behavior with ultra wealthy people, but I don't think they are going to Boston to play golf in the winter.

PS.  NBA Trade Deadline is Feb 6th

I told you all this in my post above -- Brad Stevens is the interim.  :)

He committed to PU after Woodson was hired. Woodson had time to look at him and offer. He didn't.

I did mention Miller in my post, so I'm aware that he missed on him too. Miller is no longer IU's coach, so that is moot.

Woodson didn't sign Smith because Smith never bothered to call him...

I've been away from Bloomington for too long.  Is there a geographic spot that after Woody's gone could be renamed 'The Hump'?

The Hump is the "Fella's Lounge"... and y'all are mishearing and misquoting the Wizard of Broad Ripple... what he keeps saying in the pressers is "gotta get over TO the hump".

From Matt Painter…“I grew up a diehard Indiana fan,” he said. “If Bob Knight would have offered me, it just would have been over.” I was disappointed when he when he went to Purdue.  I thought he could have helped IU at that time.

And if Knight had recruited him, he could very well be coaching the Hoosiers all these years.

Tonight was the last night. But I came home after work, cleaned the house, did all the laundry, gathered up all the trash and may or may not be sitting down with a cold beverage since it’s Purdue Eve.

I love man. Not …

I would say Chris is 100% accurate on Izzo not caring enough to want Fife back.

We all realllllyyyyy dislike Woodson but Fife did some behind the scenes stuff at IU prior to even IU playing their first game with him as an assistant coach that honestly could have led to his dismissal.  Probably would have if he hadn't been an IU grad.

Idk about all that but it doesn’t really matter

Yes I kind of figured that he was ,so I guess he can lose all of them and  still thinking he is winning the National Championship ,I would say that he might need some professional help if that is the case .

Not sure if you work in aviation or some other form of LEO/Invest, but just wanted to say nice post and provide some dork information for anyone interested in flight tracking that I think is pretty cool...

Flight tracking for GA (general aviation) can be, by request, blocked from transmittal to flightaware, flightradar, et. al. via an FAA LADD request. LADD is Limiting Aircraft Data Displayed. It can now be done online (used to be email/regular mail), and can be removed (unblocked) and added (blocked) on request by the aircraft owner or legal representative. It is a fairly straightforward process. The FAA processes these requests on the first Thursday of each month, and if generally submitted early in the previous month, will go into effect.

So, for example, if Pfau knew he had a meeting with BS in Boston on December 20th, and wanted that flight information to remain private, a request to block on like 5 November will prevent us from tracking it, and can subsequently remove the block if so chosen. You could also not bother, and let the people conjecture on purpose (my favorite thought and personal choice as a resident IU tinfoil hat lol).

Now, that said, it is not fool proof (FBOs can be leaky with cool info) or if you had access to non-public flight data from ADS-B (Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast)-- but that data can be somewhat sketchy so to speak and requires access to other systems.

And of course, said rich person may simply not care, but it is fairly common amongst the billionaire types for privacy purposes.

Never know what I'm going to learn when I open this thread lol

New kid on the block bringing some juice to the thread, welcome aboard @jeffincol and thanks for the additional context OK.

I think I remember reading on Peegs that Jeff is a retired detective from Colorado. If I’m wrong @jeffincol
