Fire Coach Woodson Thread

Yea.  If a coach lays out their plan and shows progress fans get it.  Fans were very patient with Crean’s rebuild — it was clear he cleaned house and high school recruiting took time.
Part of the big issue with Woody was in Year 3, which is when the results of what a coach is building should really be apparent, his program literally imploded.  Team was ranked in the 90’s with no high schools recruiting class — insane!
The Woody supporters have given up on him now, but many still love blaming the fans, media, expectations, etc. when the issue has always been that Woody is a terrible coach and the program has been poorly run for a long time.

I remember some saying he was forced to play through the post his first two years but by year three we would see the real four out Woodson offense . Lol.

Mike Woodson's protection is being sheered away by the blunt-force trauma he's doing to #iubb. The IU legend has two angels who helped hire him, shielding him along the path to Tuesday's debacle at Assembly Hall. But that support has an expiration date.

One of the videos circulating showed the scoreboard and it was like 45-20 or something like that, so sometime around when we down 30ish in the first half.

Thanks for the responses... I am watching the replay now because I wanted to see if it was as bad as I remembered... it was... The loud groans started with Gallo's airballed three... never seen/heard anything like it in Assembly Hall.

I think about the under 12 or under 8 minute timeout.

 

Galloway himself was also boo'd. LOUDLY. That was right after he airballed a 3 early in the game. He was subbed a little after and the student section cheered. Clearly, the students do not like Galloway. Fire Woodson chants started after that.
