Ugly game by us today. Reneau deserves Races minutes. Our inability to hit the 3 kills us.

It was always going to be the biggest factor this season.

Relying on Kopp who constantly plays mental games vs himself is not a good option.

This game doesn’t change my opinion on our tourney prospects which is…..we can beat virtually every team in the tourney but also lose to virtually every team. Hope we get a couple of wins and play in the sweet 16 but who knows.

Question:  who is the worst team IU has lost to this year?

Effort solves a surprisingly large amount of problems and best thing it’s completely in your control.

Effort doesn't always lead to good results, like all the times this year we've tried to block shots and proceeded to give up offensive rebounds, or over-helped and given up a wide open 3.

Ultimately, you can’t really shut down a team that shoots a lot of 3s. They just have to miss.

You can however shut down a team like IU that plays in the paint. Especially a team like IU that also refuses to shoot 3s.

IU makes it easy for teams to defend them.

You can at least not leave them wide open

Pressure would do amazing things but we don't have the personnel or play the personnel for that. We have a massive advantage in the post but we don't force instead we allow them to dictate how the game is played.

So your solution would be to just stand there?  Because anything else would also be effort. Of course intelligent effort is best of all. But baby steps. Let’s try first then we can add in the complex stuff
