Sometimes it's not so much growing up as it is just being busy in life. I was at the same point as the poster, busy with life, children, career etc. I'm retired now, widowed and it's something to keep myself occupied during the winter months so I guess you can say i'm regressing to being immature again and I'm comfortable with that.

I wouldn't say you're immature, I'd say you're more focussed now. My definition of immature is doing stupid stuff when you should know better. You've got wisdom at this age. I highly doubt you do stupid stuff.
