I was just thinking the same thing.

I think PU wins though going away.

Wild that there aren't any Top 4 seeds to win yet. Hurts a team like Purdue who could have gotten wins over Wisconsin and Illinois and now it's Michigan State and Indiana/Iowa.

Iowa is 15th in Net, only one behind IL, so not really a big hurt. 

I'm not really worried about PU getting hurt though 

My best friend is a PU fan, so gonna half @$$ cheer for them tonight.

Indiana is the lowest seed team since a 10 seed Illini reached the Championship game in 2008. 

Iowa made the championship game in 2002 as a 9 seed. 

Penn State made it to the semis as a 9 in 2000. 

Illinois made it to the championship game as an 11 seed.

I remember it being kind of fun in the early to mid-2000's. We made it to the final game in 2001 and reached the semifinals in 02, 03 and 06. Everything after 2006 has pretty much sucked. I remember staying up late to watch us lose in overtime to Illinois in 07 and having to go take my SAT the next morning. 08...Hoffarber....nothing more needs to be said. The early Crean years...nothing to see. Cody Zeller couldn't beat Wisconsin. A couple more years of Crean failures, then we got that good team that somehow lost to Michigan after destroying them at their place (Chatman traveled on the game winning 3). Archie Miller...lol. 

 

This is the first time since 2003 that we've won more than one game in the event.

I feel like Purdue wants nothing to do with that. Would be awesome. And 100% a sold out arena.

It would be nice to consistently play Saturday or Sunday in the BTT. Good atmospheres, feels like your team’s hitting its stride at the right time, the tourney title isn’t AS important as the regular season but it’s still an impressive prize. I think IU can join the teams consistently playing in the semis and beyond. Lately that’s been MSU, UM, PU, OSU, Ill, UW. Let’s jump a few of that group and do it.

Agreed. Have to get the guys that are talented enough to do it because we haven’t had enough talent in a long time. 
 

i hope woody’s style will keep us competing March every year. Just need the talent now.
