Not started Stewart and Kopp. And if I did, actually run plays for them to get open instead of standing around. Having one of Galloway and Phinisee on the court at all times. Yeah, today probably wouldn’t have mattered. But this is a theme that has been happening all year with the starters. We were a combined -13 with the starting lineup each half against Purdue and -13 again today with Michigan. That’s alarming. Phin or Galloway have to start in front of either Kopp or Stewart. And woody needs to run plays for Stewart to get open way more often. The wrong guys are shooting for us

They did but they can't be expected to come in game after game and dig the starters out of double digit deficits in the first half.

It's insanely high for a team to shoot that number in warm-ups even.

I agree but after they've hit like 8 of them you probably need to stay with them. At least attempt to contest them.....IU did not

As well as Michigan played we had several missed shots near the basket and miss timed jumps for rebounds. Could have been a closer game.

yeah.  I know our defense gave them a lot of open looks, but I don't believe for a minute that if we got that many wide open looks we'd make anywhere near that percentage.

Maybe it's an unrealistic wish on my part but it seems like I've been pleading to get a lights out shooter for a long, long time.

One positive about today - we're not "peaking" too early in the season...

Phinisee and Galloway both played awful--2 points combined. Starting either one of them would have made no absolutely difference. The entire team stunk with the exception of Xavier Johnson. Johnson was IU's best player today. At least he tried to make something happen. There was no energy with anyone else.

Stewart is close, I just think CMW needs to keep running sets for him, specifically starting the game to get him going and involved

RPI is a metric not used anymore but I’m not seeing where it has them 63.

It’s too much relying on TJD.  Honestly, I would rather see TJD average 14-16 points per game and have two others averaging double figures.  I think CMW needs to get others involved and have a more balanced scoring

There are like 3 different websites that use their own version of RPI. And like USPS said, it's an outdated metric that's no longer important.

Adjusted offense dropped all the way to 86th after this game. It's just way too hard for this team to score points.
