Well, one thing is absolutely certain... absolutely no Playboy model fans of the opposing team were injured in the court storming last night!

When was the last time IU stormed the court?  The Watshot?

When you say 'act like you been there before'......the kids in the crowd and the players on the court HAVEN'T been there before.  It was a highly emotional win -- to me that's different than a ten point win or so where the conclusion wasn't in doubt.  Let kids have emotions.

There was a half-assed court storm against Wisconsin. I was at the game but can’t remember off hand when it was. Had to have been 2013 or 2014. 
 

Edit: January 2014 against Wisconsin. The Vonleh team. They were undefeated and #3.

Ms. January takes offense to this statement. Her feelings were hurt tremendously by the court storming.

I definitely remember that game.  I think it was on a Tuesday night, and me and my friends got excited and drove back to Bloomington for the next game on Saturday during which we failed to crack 50 and lost to Northwestern.  Oh the ebbs and flows of the CTC era.

There was also one of those half-assed storms after beating MSU at home in 2019.  I guess just some of the kids in the bleachers behind the goals came down but no one else.

Has CMP let everyone know that Purdue will no longer play Indiana unless it is at a neutral court? You know those court stormings are dangerous at AH.

My first reaction was "oh don't storm the court, act like you have been there."  However, a few moments later it was what the hell it's a big big big win and as other have said, these kids haven't been there. 

Not to be overly dramatic, but Phin's shot is up their with the Keith Smart shot in 87.  This was a big game for the program.  It was the Woodson Hoosiers announcing their presence with authority.  :)

I didn’t really storm the court but was on the court along the out of bounds line opposite the scorers table.  
I don’t see a problem with it this time.  Students are not thinking about anything at that point just the excitement of beating a top ranked team at the buzzer.  A lot of emotion.  We definitely were aware of the nine game losing streak and to win that way was unbelievable.  
Everything is basically new for us.  New team.  New staff.  Packing the Hall.  It won’t become a habit but it felt right and it felt good after this one.

Some folks should spend more time worrying if their poligrip is about to run out rather than getting mad at watching a bunch of kids having a great time after finally having something to cheer about when it comes to playing purdue. What student, player, prospective recruit doesn't want to see that type of crazy atmosphere at Assembly Hall?
