For those wanting to rekindle their hope for Stevens.  My old college roommate is a coach at IU, not basketball.  He said Brad Stevens was going to be our next coach.  It doesn’t move my needle but if any of you want to run with that, go ahead.

I would buy it more if Brad hadn’t literally just doubled down on his previous comments by mentioning the rumor about IU yesterday or the day before. That’s like 3 denials in the last 2 weeks, including one that was totally unprompted. 
 

I hope that I’m wrong, just having a hard time buying it.

Yeah, and I understand that argument. My counter is that

1. Saban did that when being pressured by reporters. Brad has done the same thing but has also done it completely unprompted by anyone.

Listen I would LOVE to be wrong about this; just the way I’m feeling.
