Freshman from Jeffersonville. 6'3/185lbs, averaged 13.4 pts, shot 36.4% from three and 41.1% from three in league play Was combing an Indy star list of Indiana High School Players now playing D1, looking to see if anyone stood out. I would look at Pickett (Ft. Wayne) on Wright State too. Quote

Has 3 years to develop, 6'9", 5 boards a game, has the ability to step out and hit a 3, showed pretty good athleticism from what I have seen of him. I am not saying he is a starter on day 1, but if we lose some more of our bench, I think he could be developed. He also came on later in the year as he started getting more comfortable. They play UVA in round 1, we should get a chance to see both he and Cooper against some pretty high end P5 talent. fwgreenway 1 Quote

A low hit rate class of player is gonna succeed once or twice if you get enough of them. Just look at Creans era. Bit even Wilkerson wasn’t some certified go to scorer who could put his head down and get some points when we needed to stop the bleeding RaceToTheTop 1 Quote

And before I get this out, I've never seen a second of his game. But if this is the likes of what we'll go after. I'm afraid DDV, won't make it. I'd be happy with looking at this kid as a 11-13 in the rotation option, maybe. No, you know what? I'm tired of losing to NW and MN. Go get us some players and get this ship righted. I'll remain hopeful of DDV seeing some success here because honestly. It's our best option. 43 year hardcore IUBB fan right here. But our program is currently dead, it has no juice. And maybe that's to be blamed on the admin. We've got too many non-Indiana/Midwest kids and that's another big reason for the lower attendance? I'd like to see a study on this actually but maybe I'm a nerd now fwgreenway and WayneFleekHoosier 2 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Kellen Pickett, a Blackhawk Christian kid is not what we need at this point and time. Maybe if he’s willing to for 10-13 on the depth chart. But all the things that makes winning hard in the B1G will be an Achilles heel for Pickett. Maybe after another year of development, but even then I have my doubts. I genuinely hope the staff goes heavy 1-10 this season. 11-13 is whatever to me. Pickett would be nice there if that’s a route he is willing to take. We really need some dudes, and so far the rumored names aren’t gonna cut it. HinnyHoosier, ronzo4IU and fwgreenway 3 Quote

I don’t want another mid-major all-star team, but I don’t want an entire group of P4 rejects either. Home Jersey 1 Quote
WayneFleekHoosier Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago George Lettice, and interesting Twitter follow posted his predictions. 5. Reibe/7 foot international 4. Mikko Murrinen/Orme 3. Jalan Haralson 2. Adrian Wooley 1. Brett Decker/ Connor Enright 2.(lol) I don’t think he’s dialed in but he’s also not a buffoon. He’s a good follow for football stuff. FWIW. Seems odds on my of these guys would be slim to none. And whatever Enright 2 is. Haha Quote

Wilkerson was about as efficient as humanly possible without any help. He wasn’t out there scoring 20 points on 25 shots a game. Wilkerson was a stud who would start for any team in the country. Cool sometimes you need a guy who can manufacture a bucket to end a 5 minute scoring drought. Wilkerson wasn’t a good enough scorer to do that RaceToTheTop, FortWayneHoosier and Hovadipo 1 2 Quote
