@Uspshoosier just posted this Borzello tweet and it has immediate implications for this year's cycle of portal recruiting.  Grad transfers are now bound by being in the portal by May 1.

NCAA never ceases to amaze the legislation they approve that will get struck down in court.  Formally approving a closing of the portal for grad transfers 9 days from now?

Matt Cross is going to visit Iowa and Wisconsin so he may actually end up in the B1G. I remember how much Miller wanted him.

Miami, Louisville, then U Mass.  hit the portal this year and committed somewhere — don’t recall where — then devommitted when the coach left.

Yeah, he's been all over the place. IIRC, he moved around in HS a lot too. Get the "one foot out the door" vibe from him. I'm not upset that Miller missed on him.

Couple of bigs entered today.  I know nothing at all about them but on the surface both sound like a backup role would be acceptable.

BYU big man Atiki Ally Atiki will enter the transfer portal, a source tells @247SportsPortal. 43 inch vertical and averaged 14pts 10rebs per 40 this year.

Washington senior Braxton Meah has officially entered the Transfer Portal @On3sports has learned The 7-1 center averaged 5.3 points and 5.3 rebounds this season/

I like the Meah kid. Pick and roll rim runner and moves well for someone that is 7'1. Horrible FT shooter though

Norchad Omier. Will never forget how strong he looked pushing TJD around. I remember we couldn’t grab a board to save our lives down there. Don’t know what he is listed at but looks like 6’5. All Charles Barkley team.

That’s gonna be  a difference-maker for somebody. Kid never takes a play off.

Without a doubt. Putting him on a team with a few dynamic guards makes you a contender imo. I mean that’s exactly what Miami did with him, but now he is probably even better and can pick which guards he wants to play with. Doesn’t need a single play ran for him ever and will still impact every trip down the court.

Don't know that he's of any interest to us but grad transfer Alex Hemenway (6'4") of Clemson (Castle HS in Newburgh, Indiana) has portaled.    Hardly played at all last season but is a career 43% 3-point shooter.  Battled foot problems in 22-23 and maybe problem carried into past season accounting for limited minutes?

https://clemsontigers.com/sports/mens-basketball/roster/alex-hemenway/#:~:text=Averaged 6.9 points%2C 1.8 rebounds,at least three 3-pointers.

He and Jack Nunge beat Romeo, Romeo's JR year.
