Don’t usually scout the stat line but this one is really interesting for a big this young. Averaged more blocks than fouls and shot north of 70% from the line as a freshman. So he can stay on the floor while protecting the rim and can’t be reflexively fouled. With 3 years of eligibility that’s a pretty good profile.

Don’t think he’ll fall in our budget.  Like him though.  Is he the one where we need to hire his handler or is that that Cincinnati C?

I like to look at offensive rebounding with bigs. I caught one Fairfield game this year and freshmen Bramdon Benjamin went on my portal watch list. Yes it's Fairfield but 4.4 offensive rebounds a game. Tomislav Buljan is at 4.0. Both averaged double-doubles on minimal shots year one. Either would be great rotation pieces.

Had a late Woody offer that obviously went nowhere. Was a flat out sniper in HS. Will be an interesting buy low option. From California, assume he’ll head that direction.

Granted that Chandler is a Utah native, but it also sure seems like Mark Pope at UK is getting the Woodson treatment: has to overpay to get anyone to say yes to him.

Probably will stay in state?

You’d think so given the number of great in state options with real money. But according to 247 his HS visits were TCU, Xavier, NC State and Penn St., so who knows?

IIRC that's true for both of them.  Diop may be worth it as I watched him a couple times and he was exactly what we were missing.
