How many players have announced their intent to enter the portal already? Wonder how that number stacks up vs a week before the portal opened last year. Kinda shocked none of our guys have announced they're portaling yet.

Would be a really interesting rotational/2nd big with a chance to do more. 3 years of eligibility. Played at Gonzaga in DC so I’m sure Kenny knows him.

Fine by me. He has a single skill and no other way to help you win. He’s the 7th or 8th guy on a good team.

And he was likely making some good coin relative to his skill set, so if he is leaving, that money can probably be put to better use. We should have a ton of NIL "cap space" to work with.

The only thing that is a little intriguing about Dorn is that because of the broken foot he really couldn't work out until October. If he worked his @$$ off, lost 15 pounds, and got in great shape he could be a different player.

I don't disagree. Alot of players of his archetype in the portal every year. Many of those with multiple years of eligibility.

I feel like our rotation 1-8 has to be significantly bigger, faster, longer and stronger than this year. With the trend of size, unfortunately we will be paying over a mil for a backup 5. In theory, you could drop 12m on 1-8 and still not finish in the top 5 of the big ten.

I may be in the minority but I'd go the euro route for half the rotation. Not just any players, we have two that didn't break a sweat, but Illinois looks pretty good to me as a short term philosophy.

Interesting (if true) that Lettice says we need six from the portal.

Sisley, Acimovich, and three freshmen makes five. That would mean eight, not six open slots, which would mean that two more are returning or he thinks we already have two portalers in the fold.

I like how you read into it. If it’s Harris and Drake, then that just puts even more pressure on building an incredible portal class.

Too many unknowns, but it’s so hard not to speculate while we wait!

And that skill only worked in the corner. Limited player who got hot for 3 games. Good luck to him though.

You like Dorn to transform his body or Miles to up his skills in the offseason more? Miles is probably cheaper at least.
