Have watched 90% of the games in his career. An absolute defensive menace. Great on ball defender. Not good, great. But he has no PG instincts to speak of. Just doesn’t make good reads. Can probably help a good team as a 3rd guard, but if he’s your primary you’re gonna struggle on offense.

Paging Thomas Carr.  Paging Thomas Carr

Seems like this would be a natural in with Carr now on staff. I wonder if GM Carr has him high on the portal board.

Was a McDonald's all-american and was ranked 16th in the class of 2025.  Stayed in Houston's rotation but had couldn't score -- shot 27% from three and 28% overall.  Sounds like a low floor high ceiling type of player.

Doubt this will interest anyone but me much, but saw Fielder play a couple of games in HS and liked him pretty well. Unlike a lot of stretch big types he’s got enough bulk and leverages well enough to hold up against most traditional 5’s and good enough feet to chase stretch 4’s and hedge pick and roll. He’ll help a good team.

Blew out a knee a couple of years ago that set him back. He’s a great looking athlete without a playable skill.

Jason Rivera-Torres, 6'7" F from Monmouth.  15.8 ppg, 8.1 RPG, 2.9 apg.  Shot 40/32/82

Daeshun Ruffin, 5'10" PG from Jackson State.  Spent two years at Ole MIss and two at Jackson St.  Would need a waiver to be eligible (he played just 11 games in 2022-23).  Averaged 23.3 points and 5.3 assists last year.  Shot 43/31/84.
