I did that in 97. Good times!  Ok. We didn’t rip it down. But I hung on it. lol

For what game?  I'm pretty sure I attended every home football game in the 90s.

Do you remember that home game against Ohio State around 1998 where they won which sent them to the Rose Bowl?  Their fans stormed our field and tore down the south goal post.  Then as they wandered to the north goal post our team had to come out of the locker room to surround it.

At least thats the way I remember it.

It was against Illinois.  Our first (and only) Big Ten win that year.  They were winless.  So the fans rushing the field were just happy to have won!  Security pulled me down and I was later told they didn't want to destory the field/post because there was one home game left, against PU.  I believe we got blown out of the water that game.

I didn't attend IU in the fall of 98, I was part of the Walt Disney World College internship program and spent that fall in Orlando.  I missed that OSU game you are referencing.

It's foggy here this morning, a lot of moisture in the air and about 70 degrees.  The meteorologist promises no rain, but it's very overcast.  Shouldn't bee too hot on the field, but there might be moisture concerns.  Look for turnovers to play a role today

I'm sitting here in my apartment waiting for the game to start.

One of the things that I like least about living outside the US, is missing IU Football.  Yeah, I've been able to watch all the games on TV, but it just isn't quite the same though.

Now that I am a little older I finally have the means to go to a bowl game.  I took my Dad to the Pinstripe, and Foster Farms.  Last year, my sisters and I paid for our parents to go the bowl.  Would love to have gone this year, but flights from Europe are lot more expensive.  So I'll just be here wearing my IU gear and cheering loudly!

Go IU!!!!

Watched the live-stream of the warmups on FB and it seemed like there was only like 50 people in the crowd.

Oh yeah...there isn't many people here.  The entire lower bowl is for family so there's a few Miss fans down there.  The upper level was general admission, it's all IU...but a lot of seats are zip tied ****.  Probably 10% seating here
