Love this and it makes me wish we could have seen the outcome of the actual game. But have to ask about a few of the results:

 

-Justin Smith 7/13 from the field for 16 points?? Maybe 7 out of 13 times driving to the basket he was able to maintain control of the ball going up, but that’s a little aggressive a field goal percentage based on his case of “softiosis” lately. 
-Al going for 19? Would that be a season high? 
-Honest question, has IU won a game this year in which Devonte Green scores 2 points or less? I feel like if we were going to beat a top 25 team on a neutral court “good Devonte” would have to be a bigger contributor no?

Fun to play what-if, since we have literally nothing to look forward to and can only guess how it may have been.

Al only topped 19 points once this year. against Western Illinois.

Smith:  lol, don’t know.  Maybe the rims were generous.

Thanks for doing this brumdog. It’s filled a very small sliver of the void, and I appreciate that. Also, I have no idea what it means to steak a bid. But it sounds cooler than stealing a bid so I’m not going to change it.
