Uspshoosier Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 I'd be surprised if he doesn't announce by the end of the week. I think he will hire an agent too. New rule will allow the ones invited to the combine to hire an agent and if they don’t get drafted they will allow to go back to school. I will double check but I think that was part of the the new findings by the commission Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

This is a step in the right direction imo.Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote

mdn82 Posted April 2, 2019 Posted April 2, 2019 NBA would have to change their schedule for that I think to work. The MLB does their draft in June. Players still playing in college get to finish out their season, sign their contracts, and then decide. There is no combine. So the combine warriors are the ones that suffer, but the majority of players are locked in. I don’t see it being changed due to the teams that don’t make the playoffs are still interested in May for the lottery, then June for the draft.
