This leaves Juwan at 1,253 career points and moves him in front of Tom Van Arsdale for 33rd on Indiana basketball's all-time scoring list. He is 4 points shy of moving into 32nd with James Blackmon, Jr and only 19 points shy of breaking into the top 30. The 11 boards tonight brings his career rebounding total to 715, which is just 35 rebounds shy of entering Indiana's top ten all-time career leaders in rebounds. With 35 more rebounds on the season, he would tie Brian Evans for the 10th best career mark with 750 rebounds. With guarantee of 4 more games Juwan might be able to do it. Even if we win a postseason game he still needs 7.5 a game ray 1 Quote

With one additional post season game he would need 7 per game to tie Brian Evans. Either way, I think it’s certainly possible considering he’s averaging 8.3 for the season. I would love to see him break into the top ten. That would be quite an accomplishment. ALASKA HOOSIER, HoosierAloha and southsidehoosier 3 Quote

Popular Post ray Posted March 10, 2019 Author Popular Post Posted March 10, 2019 The zebras limited Juwan Morgan's minutes today on Senior Day, but he finished with 25 points and 7 rebounds. Juwan is now one point shy of moving into 29th (Tom Bolyard) and only 20 points shy of 28th (Jordan Hulls) on Indiana's all-time scoring list. He now has 1,298 career points. He also recorded 7 rebounds, bringing his career total to 731 (13th). This keeps him only 19 rebounds shy of breaking into Indiana's top ten all-time rebounding leaders. He is also currently 9th all-time in career blocks. Hovadipo, ThompsonHoosier, southsidehoosier and 8 others 9 2 Quote

ray Posted March 12, 2019 Author Posted March 12, 2019 Wow, according to the coaches of the Big Ten there are 15 players in the conference who are better than Juwan Morgan? Unbelievable the lack of respect he’s been given. I want to see him in ABSOLUTE BEAST MODE in the BTT and prove the coaches have been asleep all season. ALASKA HOOSIER and hoosierfan6157 2 Quote

It could be as many as 19 players unless they select like 30 honorable mentions in which case it could be more. Bulletin board material Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app ray 1 Quote

Bulletin board material Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Yeah, they apparently believe there are (at least) 15 better players. Wow, what a punch in the jaw. Like I said, I hope this fuels him and he has an absolutely freakish performance throughout the BTT. And this isn’t even a Hoosier bias on my part, as I would have placed Romeo below Juwan on these lists. Popular Post hoosierdogg Posted March 20, 2019 Popular Post Posted March 20, 2019 Juwan needs 19 points to move into 25th all time scoring at IU (Uwe Blab - 1357), and 4 rebounds to move into top 10 in rebounds (Brian Evans - 750). He is already top 10 in blocks (9th) with 134, 2 short of Eric Anderson's 136 at 8th. Only three players in IU basketball history have finished top 25 in scoring, top 10 in rebounds, and top 10 in blocks in their careers - Alan Henderson (7th points, 1st rebounds, 2nd blocks), Eric Anderson (11th, 8th, and 8th) and Ray Tolbert (20th, 6th and 7th). Pretty good company there. Morgan needs one more good game in the Hall, preferably 2, to move up these lists. Let's go JMo, make your mark in Hoosier basketball history.
