What Is With Moore Not Playing - We're Bleeding In The Paint???

This has puzzled me for quite a while. ... He must show absolutely nothing in practice. ... With Davis injured last year and so many ailing this season, I would think his size would be a big plus. But there he is -- on the bench. Just like he has been for most of the past 40 or so games.

How the hell do you have a one and done probable lottery pick for one year that provides offense to a team that desperately needs it not run your damn offense thru and focus on him? I understand the whole team concept but c’mon they can’t stop him. Romeo needs twice as many looks that he gets.

I really think it's as simple as he's just not a high major caliber player... Crean has been known to recruit bigs that can't play.

To be honest, I've never expected anything more than what we've seen.  I've always kind of him as one of Crean's patented "well, I'm desperate and he has a pulse" reaches.

I'd be perfectly fine with just running a two man game through him and Morgan most of the time.

Indiana just turned the screw. Excellent end to the half with the exception of the final call and how we ran some weak titty inbound play leading to a bad pass and a worse call. Will pull away in the 2nd.

So our defensive intensity completely changed around the 5:00 minute mark. Kind of wish they would make defense their identity. Romeo and Morgan are good enough offensively to carry the offense

Might not have the stamina to play at that level whole game

Unable to watch today. How are we looking?

we're up 4 at the half. I'd say we've looked pretty meh. Some bad turnovers and defense but we cleaned it up for the last 4/5 mins of the first half. Romeo and Juwan are playing pretty well. Al started the game very well

First 15 minutes was bad to meh. They stepped up their intensity a lot in the last 5 minutes. Green kind of screwed a lot of our momentum offensively though.

I don’t understand the “where is Moore” posts every game. Archie knows he needs more bigs, DD and Morgan frequently get in foul trouble, there are “big man” minutes sitting on a platter but yet Archie sees Moore practice every single day and decides not to play him. The reason is very obvious......He is not ready/good enough.

True. Would be nice to see it for more than short stretches like that though. And nice to see it more consistently.

Moore actually got some action in last year's home win over Northwestern. I remember because my friend who was a huge Crean homer insisted he had a ton of potential and that game was his turning point.

To be fair to your friend. Last year, Draft Express had Moore as a top 20 pick after this year, which is insane.
