The blown lead was not on Newkirk...that was a team effort (blowing a big lead). Didn't say he was responsible for the run but I saw at least 3 possessions where he drove in a crowd of red jerseys and no points come out of it. I saw ESPN had only 1 to for him but I think there was at least one more. He has no clue in this game! I like Smith but he has to improve significantly on defense (or offense) if he's going to play big minutes going forward. I watched him on defense actually. When things were going well, he was doing his work on defense early on in the possession and then being in good position.
