Class of '66 Old Fart

IUBB vs Fort Wayne - 12/18 @ 8:00 E.T.

Recommended Posts

Our roster isnt very talented boys..
Josh - An athlete, not a basketball player. There's a difference.
Rojo- Streaky, lost his confidence to the MONSTARS last season and has yet to get it returned fully
Green - A playground player. He can score and has some moves and passes, but still will make the questionable decisions. He's a decent role player
Morgan - Off to a great start this year, but I still consider him a role player. He's growing into a good player however.
Davis - Still can't compete on the up and down game. He's limited to the post and that will hurt us and help us game by game.
Smith - A freshman.. just not ready.
Al - A freshman..
Moore - who knows
Hartman - A shooter, a leader, can't really move his feet laterally but he's a nice role player.
Freddie - lol, an athlete.

We're filled with role players boys. We don't have stars, we don't have shooting, we don't have elite defensive players. We're just blah.

Do we really need stars to compete with Fort Wayne???

One tough thing about being a iu fan anymore is going out in public when people know you are a fan. May have to use the bags like the browns fans

So true. Being a Fort Wayne guy is tough these nights. So many randoms taunting me with texts. I couldn't even watch the game but I knew right away when my phone started blowing up.

I have tried to remain confident and optimistic for this year and moving forward. All of it is dwindling for me. I'm also sick of the "need to get his guys" stuff. It is fair to start criticizing everyone involved here fairly. Now I need to go brush my teeth to try and get the vomit that filled my mouth during that game rinsed out. Just ****.....complete ****.

I gave them a pass for the Indiana State game. Not this time. Absolutely inexcusable
Only saw the last five minutes. Barf. The Notre dame excitement sure ended quickly add so did any tourney hopes.

Would help to have a few guys that can make shots. The defense game plan is on Archie though. IPFW copied ISU and it worked flawlessly. Shame on Archie for not adapting at all.

Plus one about adapting defensively.  There are a lot of "we have no-talent posts", against friggin Ft Wayne, but having multiple games where mid-majors shot threes like they are playing H.O.R.S.E is disappointing.  No, this is not a "get rid of Archie" post, but ....it is almost funny to read that when we have a good defensive game and have few turnovers it is because Archie is a great coach but it is Crean's fault when we play like tonight.  It is a process but a little more consistency will be welcome.

I live in Ga. I have a daughter that swims for them and a son playing baseball for GCSU. Have you heard of Kirby Smart? Second year coach and playing in the BCS. Might end up with the #1 class this year, right behind the #3 class last season..Don't tell me a coach needs 3-4 years. Wrong hire. I know that is not a popular statement, but it is a fact. This is Indiana, but that bark has very few teeth these days.

The shots in HORSE are more contested.
