Hard not to feel down, but I believe Archie and Hartman coming back will have this team looking a lot different. IUBBFan1970 1 Quote

BGVille Hoosierfan Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 At least we showed life in the first half and there is a lot of promise for the future. I don't think we need to discount the fact that this Seton Hall team is REALLY good...they will seriously contend with Villanova for the Big East title. A lot of experience and not a lot of holes in their game. This SH team is top 10 good trust me...much better than UK/KU were last nightSent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Milldawg12 1 Quote

Blackmon_for_3 Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 It’s going to take us s few years to be relevant again Quote
TXHoosierDaddy Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 Seton Hall is a good team. They could be a tough out come March. Although not very discliplined at times. Quote
schoosier Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 Losing doesn't sting as much knowing your team played hard. We we're just outmatched at every position tonight. mdn82, IUBBFan1970 and Feathery 3 Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners No more tanking. We did our job last year with tanking by getting rid of Crean. Now we just wait for Archie to get his players and not Tom Crean leftovers. Ranger78 Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 How does Louisville still have a team. Laughable. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote
Aaron Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 I take back what I said about Seton Hall looking like a Crean team. They certainly have some Crean tendencies but they actually adjusted at the half and made the changes they needed which is not something Crean did well. With all that said this rebuild is going to take a bit longer than we thought but this is the first game you saw the team battle somewhat a provide a glimmer of hope. IUBBFan1970 1 Quote

Sent from my iPhone using BtownBannersWill do, but after a long offseason it would've have been nice to have hope beyond 1 game into the season. Lol. We should be better, but we just have funky roster composition. Not enough size or talent. Next year will be exciting but I'm not sure we will be good next year either, tbh. Romeo would help, but I fear we don't have the right kind of size/athleticism/skill to make a truly competitive team. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app Quote
VO5 Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 Just so many mental mistakes. Mostly by the seniors which is baffling to me. Shot ourselves in the foot so much. Hoosierfan2017 1 Quote
Hoosierfan2017 Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 Green played well against high level competition. That was one thing I was looking to see out of this game. Smith battled hard against their bigs. He's a little timid but that'll improve over time. It's going to be a bumpy ride this season but I'm still excited to have hope again. Ranger78 Posted November 16, 2017 Posted November 16, 2017 The young guys need to be eating up the minutes. Better effort tonight, but still a long ways to go. Didn’t help that the refs were awful. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners Quote
