Corruption in College Basketball

I saw a comment somewhere that Adidas had to increase their bid on Bowen to beat another shoe company.  This could be bigger than adidas??

Icing on the cake would be if that other shoe company was Nike. Specifically, Blue and White Nike. I have no idea if or how hard they might have "recruited" him. It's all a wondrous dream at this point, so why not?

Dakich declaring that if Indiana is involved he will be an enemy.

Suggesting if there's anything wrong with Indiana it would probably be with Thomas Bryant. Hope he's wrong.

Well, I'll be angry as hell too.  But I've seen nothing to indicated that Crean was willing to stoop to such tactics.

No mention of any joint participation by the NCAA in the investigation at the USAO presser.

To me, that means that the NCAA does not have access to case materials, and will literally not be able to proceed on their own anytime soon.

Meh, just don't see it though. Tom graduated high school early. It wasn't AAU related which seems where this investigation began. He needs to think through what he is saying.

Edit: He knows Crean is clean and has said as much.

The guy just said that as far as he knows, the NCAA had no idea the investigation was happening until today.

He's not really out of line with what he's saying. Just saying he was curious about TB in the past and if there was anything wrong that would be where it is.

This makes the NCAA look like a complete joke. All this occurring under their nose until the FBI had to step in.

This would've been even better if this was all under the work of a newspaper organization.

NCAA doesn't have the power the FBI has. Wiretaps?

NCAA doesn't have the power to really investigate
